This site's name "southren heritage" is no spelling error. The words "southern" and "southren" have very distinct and different meanings. To be "southern" is to be from the American South with origins from Eastern Europe or another continent. However, to be "southren" means from the American South from Celtic origin. As a "Southrener," I trace my roots back to England, Scotland and Wales. Though my family has claim to all of Great Britain, Scotland is our main place of origin. |
